Certified Golf Teaching Professional®  Certified Golf Coach®
The International PGA endorses specialized training for golf teaching professionals, golf coaches and golf club managers. For this reason we recognize and endorse the World Golf Teachers Federation (WGTF). The WGTF was founded in 1992 in order to develop a standardized system of teaching people to golf and to unify the training of golf teaching professionals throughout the world. Their three-tiered certification program, combined with continuing education through their membership publication and monthly email-newsletters, is designed to develop and provide the highest quality of golf teaching professionals for the industry. An additional certification course is offered on being a successful golf coach specially for those individuals who help competitive golfers.
